Published in conjunction with the British Dragonfly Society this wall chart is based on Hammond's "Dragonflies of Great Britain and Ireland", using the drawings of A. E. Gardner.
The drawings are all oversized, the Damsels being X2.7 and the Dragons X1.35 life size. Many species are illustrated in lateral aspect as well as dorsal i.e.
Ishnura elegans
Ishnura pumilo
Aeshna mixta
Somatochlora arctica
Sympetrum sanguineum and
Sympetrum striolatum among others.

In a number of cases various forms are also illustrated, including homeochrome and heterochrome forms (i.e. Enallagma cyathigerum) as well as a number of named varieties.
This is a very complete illustration of the relevent species, my only concern is that the species name S.scotica is still being used in preference to the more modernly accepted S. danae.
